Introduction

We are happy to announce that The Midwest Blood Club will hold its 11th Annual Symposium at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, from Thursday, September 19th through Friday, September 20th, 2013. We will be updating this site with more information on the agenda of scientific sessions and social activities.

About the Conference

Since 2003, this meeting has been organized to foster greater communication between hematology/oncology investigators within the Midwest region by creating a forum where researchers can meet and share ideas and data on stem cell biology, transplantation, cell/gene therapy, leukemogenesis, and immunotherapy. The meeting will be composed of both senior and junior investigators, with a decided focus towards students, postdoctoral/clinical fellows, and newly independent investigators serving as speakers. Both oral and poster presentations will be selected from the abstracts submitted by the August 2, 2013 deadline. A banquet will be held on Thursday night for all the participants.
